Electricity travels from line source to load demand, through the electrical meter.

The electrical meter records normal KWH usage.

It also records interference, A/C noise caused by A/C inductive current, as additional KWH usage.

The STEMS unit filters A/C noise, reducing interference.

These functions reduce the current (amp) draw from the service supply line.

The reduced current draw lowers motor temperature.

Reduced motor temperature extends the service life of equipment.

A STEMS unit reduces the line losses caused by stray voltage and current spikes.
